Hey there,
I am so thankful for a chance to connect with YOU!
I am a grateful woman. I have been married to Doug since 1997. We are opposites in so many ways and God has creatively used our differences to shape us in "brutiful" ways. We have two breath-taking daughters and one son! Grace Christine is 22, Kayla Joy is 14, and little Isaac Aaron is 5 (there's quite a story there!) I have the privilege of being a biological, adoptive and foster mama. Kayla joined our family through Foster-Adoption after years of heart-breaking secondary infertility that rocked my world and my faith. The gifts of that season of suffering and loss are some of my greatest treasures (although at the time, I was one ticked, depressed woman). In 2013, God led Doug and me back to foster care, and we had the privilege of caring for several children since then.
I am passionate about transformation. I believe that with God anything is possible, and that He is very much alive and at work in this world.
I am passionate about men and women living the dreams God has for them, right in the midst of their every day lives. I love to help them discover these dreams.
I am passionate about speaking life-giving words--to ourselves and to those in our sphere of influence.
I am passionate about keeping it real. No pedestals.
I am passionate about daily following the nudges of the Holy Spirit.
I am passionate about journeying with people through faith shifts.
I am passionate about living the questions for which I can't find answers.
I am passionate about cultivating joy through gratitude.
I am passionate about women celebrating other women and choosing to refuse the joy-killing practice of comparing themselves, their lovies, their lives to anyone else's.
I am passionate about speaking out for those who can't speak for themselves.
I am passionate about partnering with God in His work in this world. I long to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with my God.
I am passionate about a person experiencing the metamorphosis that happens when he or she is willing to surrender heart, mind, and soul to the powerful work of the Holy Spirit in his or her life.
I am passionate about my Jesus, who is making all things new...every moment of every day! With Him, resurrection is always in the air...
"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20, The Message
Warmly,
Christine
